Svenska Stuga Lofsdalen

Lofsdalen

Accessible hiking in a magnificent mountain landscape.

In southern Härjedalen, Sweden, lies Lofsdalen — 500 km from Stockholm. Here you will find a fantastic range of experiences for anyone who loves beautiful nature, an active outdoor life and the genuine charm of the Swedish mountains.

Skiing in Lofsdalen

In winter, well-groomed cross-country trails attract skiers from all over Europe. The well-kept, snow-sure trails suit elite skiers and recreational skiers alike — as well as anyone who simply wants to glide along and take in the views of the white expanses.

The Lofsdalen alpine resort offers both child-friendly, easy slopes and seriously steep pistes for the more experienced skier. Lift queues are rare, and with 25 slopes, great off-piste opportunities and one of Sweden’s steepest pistes, “Rännan” (with a 42-degree gradient), Lofsdalen is truly a ski resort to be reckoned with.

Summer in Lofsdalen

In summer, the unspoilt mountain landscape invites you to exciting activities. Hike high above the tree line along marked trails of varying difficulty. Fish for trout in lake Lofssjön, rent a boat, canoe or SUP. Ride MTB or downhill — Lofsdalen Bike Park is specially designed to suit families with children, beginners and intermediate riders.
